Xavier gazed at Yovanna lovingly and said, "I drank too much during an event last night, so I couldn't drive. I had to stay here for a bit." Yovanna snuggled up in his arms, feeling relieved. Paying them no attention, Miranda simply sat down and started eating. Yovanna glared at her with gradual resentment. When Xavier headed out of Miranda's bedroom, he had already changed back into his clothes. He stood behind Miranda and stared at her with a complicated expression. Without another word, he left. Yovanna hurried after him, and the house returned to its usual silence again. Miranda finished her meal, cleared the table, and washed the dishes. The next day, Miranda accompanied Yovanna to shoot a commercial. Miranda was highly alert this time. Fortunately, Yovanna was still in one piece after the shoot.
