Miranda turned to see where the noise came from. Yovanna was clinging tightly to the horse's neck, clearly struggling to control it. With her face full of fear, she turned to Miranda with a pathetic look and pleaded, "Help me…" Miranda glanced at Xavier and hesitated for a moment. She couldn't bear to stand by and watch. She quickly mounted her horse and chased after Yovanna. "Get on my horse." As she caught up to Yovanna, Miranda stretched her arms toward her. "Ms. Yates, get on my horse now!" Looking panicked, Yovanna protested, "N-no! I'll fall off!" "You will if you keep this up!" Yovanna was riding a mature stallion, which wasn't easy to handle when startled. Probably because of Miranda's calmness, Yovanna felt reassured and reached her right hand out. Miranda grabbed her hand and pulled her up into her horse effortlessly. It was just as simple as pulling a tissue from a box—her strength was incredible. She stopped her horse, dismounted it, and helped Yovanna down. "Xavy!"
