The retreat of Elijah and Jocelyn looked rather pitiful. Mr. Maynard shook his head. "Sore losers, through and through." Mr. Pearson sighed. "That woman with Elijah is far too troublesome." Logan, who was always composed, said to the two elders, "Mr. Linden is quite capable when it comes to business. But when it comes to relationships, he's lacking, to say the least."
