Chapter 614
I cried for a long time until I got exhausted.
Logan asked, "Was that Elijah just now?"
I nodded and choked on my words. "I gave him a good scolding…"
Logan's gaze softened, "Alright, you've already scolded him, so your anger should be gone by now."
I was still angry. "It's all because of him! I was unlucky to marry him."
He let me vent my frustration like a child. I kept on until I finally calmed down.
He wiped away my tears. "Forget it, for the sake that he took your scolding earlier, you can stop crying now. He's quite innocent in this whole mess."
I didn't want to hear this, even though it was the truth. I just didn't want to hear it.
I buried my head in his chest and mumbled, "What do we do now? I feel like those people won't leave me alone and will just go on humiliating me."
He replied, "Since you know they're humiliating you, why are you still angry?"
I gritted my teeth. "Who else am I supposed to be angry with? It's him! I hate him!"
I started scolding Elijah again.
