Jocelyn walked toward me and laughed. "How would you know if you don't try? You can't publicly be together with Mr. Wood because Elijah is unwilling to get a divorce, right?"
I frowned. "I knew you were up to no good."
Surprisingly, Jocelyn said, "I've never been up to any good because I don't want you to reconcile with Elijah."
