Chapter 277
I immediately ducked out of Logan's reach and sat at the dressing table to dry my hair. I also wrapped myself tightly with a bathrobe.
Logan sat on the chair next to me and stared at me in silence. Feeling diffident, I didn't dare to look at him, but my heart was in turmoil.
All of a sudden, Logan took the towel away from me and helped me dry my hair.
I was at a loss for words. He was being very gentle with it. First, he let the towel absorb droplets from the tips of my hair. Then, he dried my hair with it before getting the hairdryer.
"No, I'll do it myself." I immediately took the hairdryer away from his hands. I was worried that I would lose my composure the moment he switched it on.
Logan's eyes darkened. "It still bothers you very much, Ari."
I avoided his gaze. "No, it doesn't."
He snatched the hairdryer from me and suddenly leaned close to me, forcing me to back up against the dressing table. His eyes seemed sullen, and there was a storm brewing in them.
