In that instant, Caleb displayed a level of humility he had never shown before, having never pleaded in such a way when he was still with Christine.
Sophia's gaze remained calm, devoid of any emotion. She looked up and happened to see a group of men playing football nearby. Their play was fervent, and the football inadvertently struck the window of a nearby classroom. It caused the window to shatter, scattering shards across the ground. Those nearby immediately gasped and screamed, a wave of startled cries filling the air.
It was then that Sophia suddenly turned to Caleb and asked, "Do you see that shattered glass, Caleb?"
