Riding back to the safe house in the car was silent and heavy with the realization of what has Victor done for us all. I looked at Kai and he looked back with the same concern in our eyes as we moved through the city. The last passenger was Victor who took a seat in the backseat and could not help but shift uneasily in the seat, knowing very well the risk he was taking.
