Hayley was equally worried. "You're right. We shouldn't say anything for now. We'll come back to it once we're sure Shirley is up to it."
Franklin nodded. After drinking the cup of tea Hayley made him, he stood up. "Let's go check on Shirley."
Hayley nodded and followed him to Shirley's room.
By this time, Shirley had already calmed down. Other than being frightened, she felt no physical discomfort and was fully conscious.
Shirley greeted her grandparents when she saw them enter her room, "Grandpa, Grandmom."
Franklin sat down by her bedside and touched her forehead. Finding her temperature normal, he asked in concern, "How do you feel, Shirley? Do you feel discomfort anywhere?"
Shirley shook her head. "No."
Apart from her slightly pale complexion, she seemed fine.
"Shirley, are you scared?" Franklin asked with a gentle smile.
Shirley hesitated. The image of what she saw in the elevator haunted her. This time, she had seen it more clearly than in the dungeon.
