Chapter 290
Sidney silently and quietly watched her eat, his cutlery never touching his food. He simply had no appetite. Whitney knew about his weak stomach and had always reminded him about his diet, often cooking for him herself.
It seemed that Aurora could never do something like that. Sidney needed a woman who cared for him, gave him warmth, and clung to him—someone like Whitney and not a cold, competitive woman like Aurora.
On the other hand, Aurora noticed that he hadn't touched his food. She wasn't surprised, though. After all, he had always been accustomed to special treatment, even during their school days. Even when he did occasionally eat in the cafeteria, he had special arrangements.
"If you have something to say, hurry up. I'm busy. I have things to do after lunch," she said coldly, her tone devoid of warmth.
Sidney took a deep breath, glanced at the food on the table, and hesitated momentarily. He then asked, "Is this what you normally eat?"
