Glancing at her, Helena put away the check and picked up her cutlery.
"I don't rely on this salary to live. By the way, the kids are all recovering well and have already been transferred out of the ICU. In a few more days, they should be able to be discharged and go home."
Helena didn't forget to update Aurora on the situation of the kids at the orphanage.
Aurora took a sip of tea. "That's good news. I've been a bit busy these past two days. I'll probably only be able to visit them at the orphanage after they're discharged."
Helena picked up a piece of meat Aurora liked and placed it in her bowl, smiling warmly. "Dr. Finlay knew you were busy, so she didn't want to disturb you. She asked me to give this to you."
She put down her cutlery and turned around to grab a bag, handing it to Aurora.
"What is it?"
Aurora took it and opened it, only to find a silk banner inside, along with several letters.
"They're all from the children, expressing their gratitude."
