Sebastian's expression was dark and brooding.
Roxanne didn't have the patience for his games. She asked, "Have you checked the surveillance footage?"
Sebastian's silence spoke volumes. The truth was, he had immediately assumed it was her and hadn't even bothered to check the footage.
Feigning calmness, he replied, "I've seen it."
"Oh? And the footage shows me dumping filth at your door and writing those words? I want to see it." Roxanne crossed her arms, defiance lacing her voice.
Sebastian hesitated, his gaze flickering briefly, betraying his unease.
Roxanne's tone sharpened as she said, "Sebastian, don't tell me you have no evidence. You're guessing it was me, aren't you? And you call yourself a lawyer? A big-shot lawyer? Is this how you build your cases? On assumptions?"
Sebastian snapped, pushing back his chair and standing abruptly, "Have you said enough? Fine, I'll take you to see the footage."
