Lexie looked from her family to Zheme, a shaky smile spreading across her lips as she embraced him in her arms. She could feel the tears that defined her joy running down her cheeks, she could feel as the intensity of her happiness gradually increasing...at this very moment, she felt everything; mirth, sadness, excitement, she didn't have a steady emotion, but the most prominent of all was joy. It had collided with her heart like a river does a sea and now it ran like blood through her veins, touching everywhere including the very tip of her toes and the crown of her head. It even ran along her arms which squeezed tight around Zheme too, ran across her lips which a subdued 'thank you' slipped through, and it ran along the tips of her fingers as she finally pulled away from the embrace, heart doing flips when she noticed the little twitch at the corner of Zheme's lips.
