When I woke up in the morning, Dixon was not beside me. I touched the sheets next to me and realized that they were cold. He must have woken up some time ago.
I got out of bed and quickly washed up. I changed my clothes and as I picked my phone up, I saw that my sister-in-law had replied to me at 3 a.m. in the morning.
