The man rubbed his hands together and smiled. "There's no rush. I'll just come over and have a look,” he said as he paced back and forth, then finally walked behind the stove. "You're the little lady that Uncle Fred saved earlier. What's your name again?" He asked. Nancy finally glanced up at him, but with contempt and sarcasm. "Does it have anything to do with you?" The man froze. At first, he did not respond. "What did you say?" "You can't even hear what I'm saying, and yet you want to find out what my name is?" The man understood and stalled there for a moment. He probably never met such a sharp girl before, so he stood there for a while before he snickered. "Hey! This one’s got a temper. I like it!" Nancy frowned fiercely. If she could, she wanted to beat him up with the fire poker. The reality was, she had to refrain from doing so. At the very least, she must not get on these people’s bad side until she and Nell had fully recovered. Thus, Nancy did not speak again
